Gabrielle Bolden
Multimedia Producer
Hello! My name is Gabrielle Bolden and welcome to my website!
Currently, I serve as a News Producer at WFTS ABC Action News and wanted to give you a closer look at my journalism journey throughout these past few years. The journalism communication industry became a true passion of mine at an early age, my goal is to amplify the voices of our community and shedding light on their stories.
Prior to joining the Tampa Bay Area, I honed my skills as a Producer at WCTV Eyewitness News in Tallahassee, covering both North Florida and South Georgia. I hold a B.S. in Journalism from Florida A&M University, where I was fortunate to undertake a fellowship with CBS News in New York City, working with the 24/7 digital streaming channel CBSN. Additionally, I gained valuable experience interning at WFSU, reporting on Florida's 2019 legislative session.
During my undergraduate years, I served as a producer for News 20 at Five, reaching over 80,000 households weekly with compelling content. I also contributed as a staff reporter for The FAMUAN Newspaper, pitching and crafting articles. In 2018, I co-produced the student-led Election Night Special for News 20 at Five, providing coverage of state and local election races. Furthermore, I produced my first multimedia project during the Summer of 2018, focusing on the devastating wildfires in Eastpoint, Florida.
In the newsroom, I've gained proficiency in various tools including iNEWS Avid, ENPS, Sony Vegas, and Final Cut Pro. Additionally, I possess extensive skills in writing articles and press releases.
I'm passionate about storytelling and community connection, and I look forward to continuing to make an impact through my work.
